The 2008/09 Marketing Team
|
In the coming year, the Marketing Team has been extended to enable us to reach the District’s ambition to provide our stakeholders with sound PR, communications and marketing strategies. District will provide a particular focus on Marketing Innovation using social networking mechanisms.
By continuing to establish firm and fruitful links outside of Rotary, we can more easily meet our marketing aims of strong membership, interesting meetings, relevant projects and encouragement of active service, whether Vocational, Community or International. Hence Marketing has developed a focus on aiding each club in reaching external audiences as well as existing members – here is a little of what you can expect:

|

- Aimed at attracting target audiences to Rotary.
- Based on the consistent theme – “People Like You & Me.”

Marketing Innovation
|
Innovation is at the heart of Rotary International – we are the world’s first service organisation.
Many thousands of Rotarians are constantly working on innovative projects at club, cluster, district, zone, and international levels.
We need to focus on innovation within our district marketing program that communicates the power of Rotary to make a difference, not just locally, but nationally.
It’s not about working harder. Its about creating innovative projects with the scale to make a real difference to the life of our nation, leveraging the aggregated power of Rotarians in Australia and inspiring a new generation to become involved and provide the energy and capacity to ‘get it done’.

Rotary Information Line
|
The Rotary Information Line (phone 03 9652 5872) provides access to Rotary for the general public and visiting Rotarians looking for information on make-ups. The line is listed in the White Pages and calls are diverted each day to the homes of experience Rotarians who have volunteered their time on a regular basis to ensure that all queries about Rotary are handled properly and the caller is directed to the appropriate person or club. Rotarians wishing to assist in this valuable PR exercise should contact:
