The Community Avenue of Service is chaired by Mev Connell, Deputy Chairperson:
Yvonne Moon; and comprises three Groups of Programs – Community Health,
Community Support, and Environment: each led by a Chairperson who also serves as
a member of the District Community Service Committee. The roles and responsibilities
of the District Committee are:

The District Committee has no operating budget; therefore, the funding of each and
every Program undertaken must be raised by the executing club(s). The Committee
will assist in the coordination of actions by clubs to raise funds in order to avoid
unproductive overlaps in cases where the same outcomes are to be pursued.
Responsibility for Program Protection will rest with the committee responsible for each
program and/or any club involved in the execution of a program.

execution of Community Service programs and projects. The primary role of the
District Committee is to support and assist clubs.
